Set 4 School classes support and encourage your child’s learning by recognising your child’s unique and individual characteristics and needs. All classes
reflect current research and expertise regarding young learners and
are based on the Australian Curriculum.
Set 4 School knows that learning is most effective when it is fun, hands-on, active, challenging and meaningful, allows children to feel safe and encourages children to wonder, question, reflect and communicate with others.
The development and teaching of all classes is based on the following principles:
Every child is precious, unique and individual
All children are capable learners and need high but realistic expectations
Each child has his/her own learning style
Each child has his/her own way of growing and developing
Every child can be a successful, confident and creative learner
All aspects of a child’s growth and development are equally important
Learning programs must consider each child’s individual characteristics
Learning programs must be developmentally appropriate
Parents are their child’s first and most important teachers
